Your Favorite Crime Game Goes Mobile

In celebration of the franchise’s 10th anniversary, Rockstar Game has released the critically acclaimed crime game, Grand Theft Auto 3 or GTA 3, to mobile devices. This version of the action game will bring to life the dark and seedy underworld of Liberty City straight to your phone. Now you can enjoy its massive and diverse open world, as well as the wild cast of characters that the GTA franchise is known for on your small screen

Back to Where It All Began

GTA 3 is the third installment in the GTA series, and in this game, your well-loved and love-to-hate characters are back to where it all began: Liberty City. Only this time, the sprawling crime city hosts more danger and bloodshed than ever before. It follows the story of Claude, a bank robber betrayed by his girlfriend and accomplices. In a botched robbery, Claude was arrested and sentenced to ten years in prison. But while being transported, he and a fellow prisoner are inadvertently freed. In his quest for vengeance, Claude got entangled in a world of gangs, crime, and corruption

During the game, Claude will meet various new characters from gangs. Players will need to control him as he roams the game map and complete missions. Completion of these activities will grant players with context-specific rewards, including allowing you to bribe police after committing a crime.

GTA 3 is an action-adventure game played from a third-person perspective. Players can run, jump, or use vehicles to navigate the game’s world. As for combat, players can use the auto-aim to assist them in battling enemies. They can also use body armor to absorb gunshots and explosive damage. But should they take damage, they can use health pick-ups to fully regenerate their health meter. GTA 3 gives the player a wide arsenal of weapons, which they can purchase from the local firearm dealer or pick up from the ground and loot from dead enemies.

The Open-World in Your Small Screen

The GTA 3 mobile version will bring everything you love about the game, including the stellar voice acting, the darkly comic storyline, the stunning soundtrack, and, of course, the revolutionary open-world gameplay. The app makes sure that mobile players will enjoy all of these in HD quality resolution

Rockstar Game optimized the gameplay to fit mobile devices. It has new video display settings that allow players to tailor their visual experience. The controls are also customized for touchscreens. More of GTA 3 is integrated with Immersion Haptic Vibration Feedback and comes with gamepad support for select USB controllers.

But before you enjoy hours of gameplay, you must note that you need to have at least 1GB of free space before installing the game on your phone. It is also recommended to reboot your device after the game installation. Furthermore, to ensure optimal performance, players will need to make sure that no other apps run in the background when they’re playing.

Still Needs Work

GTA 3 game is a faithful mobile port to a classic title. It brings back everything you loved about the game. You will surely have a huge bout of nostalgia. However, like most mobile games, aiming can be a bit wacky. The game console needs some time to get used to, and the game tends to slow down. Of course, you might also experience stuttering and other streaming issues.

CONS
